What you’ll take away
- Keep the 7% rise in resolved tickets separate from claims about service speed or backlog reduction.
- When 107 becomes 110, update the growth figure to 10% and inspect every repeated number and source note.
- Open the delivered file and check whether the elements a colleague needs are still editable.
Read the workload beside the result
The fictional team resolves 100 tickets in one week and 107 in the next, while incoming tickets rise from 120 to 140. The resolved count increases by 7%, but that comparison alone says nothing about handling time. Resolved divided by incoming is an aggregate activity ratio: closures may relate to older tickets. The episode keeps the backlog conclusion unproven because a full reconciliation is missing.
Use a revision to expose inconsistencies
Correct the second resolved count to 110 and the growth calculation becomes 10%. Incoming tickets remain 140. Check the bar chart, headline, labels, notes, and any recommendation that relies on the old figure. The useful exercise is to trace one deliberate correction through a small deck and see whether its story still agrees with its source.
Inspect the format you will hand over
A readable PDF and an editable presentation serve different needs. Open the actual export, examine its labels and layout, and check the objects the recipient will have to change. The episode’s five-slide structure makes that inspection manageable: decision, resolved count, workload, known and unknown factors, then a proposed next action.
Separate the release from the example
OpenAI’s 16 October announcement describes slide creation, editing, and collaboration in Space. The current help page lists eligible Pro, Business, and Enterprise accounts with Space access, with device and rollout differences. The episode uses a locally authored deck to teach review; it does not measure how ChatGPT creates, revises, or exports the same presentation.
