Finish AI work with a handover you can actually use

Keep the result, the checks and the remaining decisions together.

01 / Lead with the result

Put the useful file or change first. Name its location and explain the problem it solves in one sentence. Avoid making the next person reconstruct the outcome from a long conversation.

02 / Describe the evidence

List the relevant checks with their result and scope. “Opened the exported file and checked all five slides” is more useful than “looks good.” Keep a failed check visible even if other checks passed.

03 / Separate open questions

Name any missing input, incomplete connection or untested edge case. An item can be ready for review while still needing a publishing decision. Do not turn that distinction into an implied success.

04 / Give one clear next step

Finish with the next action, the owner and any prerequisite. Use a small checklist when several independent tasks remain. A useful handover reduces the need for another clarification loop.
